To see a wider selection of our work, come visit us in the Westmoore Community near Seagrove, North Carolina. Our address is 4622 Busbee Road, Seagrove, NC 27341. Here we maintain a full-time retail shop which is where we sell the majority of our work. We make thousands of different items, and though we never have them all in stock at any given time, we do unload at least one kiln load of pottery each week during the year.

Our building encloses both retail shop and our work space. Visitors are free to watch us work and ask questions endlessly!
Our hours are Monday through Saturday, from 9 am to 5 pm. We are always closed on Sundays. In addition, we are not open on Thanksgiving Day and we close every year from December 24-January 17th.

Westmoore Pottery is located in central North Carolina, halfway between the towns of Seagrove and Robbins. Turn off Highway 705 onto Busbee Road; go 1/2 mile, and Westmoore Pottery will be on your left.
Here is a map showing our location within North Carolina:

For those flying into our area from a distance, our nearest airport is Piedmont Triad International in Greensboro. However, airports in Raleigh-Durham and in Charlotte are only slightly farther away.

If you find yourselves in our area on a Sunday, when we are closed, do check out the small selection of pottery we keep at Seagrove Creations, close to downtown Seagrove.

Mill Creek Forge, located just a short walk down the road from Westmoore Pottery, is the workplace of blacksmith Jerry Darnell. Jerry won't brag on himself, but other blacksmiths tell me that he is consistently rated one of the 5 best blacksmiths in the country today. Since he is semi-retired, Jerry's hours are somewhat irregular, but you can often catch him working on Mondays through Saturdays from 10-4. His very fine ironwork is well worth a visit.

The Seagrove, NC area currently has over 100 potteries within a 20 mile radius of the town of Seagrove. The Seagrove Area Potters Association website gives information on many of them. Some of these potteries are full-time businesses, some part-time, with great variety of style and price. Visitors to the area often enjoy going from pottery to pottery (driving, not walking!) There's no single starting point. Most potteries provide maps for area visitors. (Do be aware that in recent years, many of the potteries list regular hours on the map, but do not actually keep regular hours.)
